It's time to put the I in AI.
Throttle sits quietly on ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini — injecting your identity and style automatically, so every conversation starts exactly how you want it. No setup. No re-explaining yourself.
No more pasting "please be concise" into every chat. Pick your mode and Throttle injects the right instruction automatically — before every message you send.
Switch instantly from the floating toolbar, mid-conversation. Changes take effect on your next message.
Every AI has a context window — a limit to how much conversation it can hold. Once you hit it, responses get vaguer and the AI starts "forgetting" what you said earlier.
Throttle's live bar shows you exactly where you are. When it turns red, hit ⚡ Compact & Continue — Throttle asks the AI to summarize your conversation so nothing gets lost.

No. Throttle never reads, stores, or transmits your conversations. It only prepends a small instruction block to the first message of each new conversation — everything stays between you and the AI. We have no server-side component that touches your chats.
Yes. Throttle works on all plans — free and paid — for all three platforms. It injects instructions at the browser level, so no special API access or paid subscription to the AI is required.
Yes — the instructions are prepended to your first message in a compact format. The AI processes them naturally. You don't need to change how you write prompts; just type normally and Throttle handles the formatting.
We monitor all three platforms and ship updates quickly when they change their UI. Chrome will update the extension automatically. If the toolbar ever stops appearing, check for a pending extension update in Chrome.
Your settings (presets, identity profile, preferences) are stored locally in Chrome's built-in storage on your device. Nothing is synced to our servers. If you uninstall the extension, all data is deleted by Chrome automatically.
It's an estimate based on message count and typical token usage per exchange. It won't match the exact token count from each platform's internal systems, but it gives you a reliable directional signal — you'll know when you're getting close to the limit before it starts affecting response quality.
